Steve Hart has been performing in the Chicago area for almost 20 years. In that time he has worked with groups as diverse as the City Symphony (classical), Toshi Iseda(hard rock), Carl Snyder (blues / R and B), and Dejablue (new age / smooth jazz).

Jazz artists he has worked with include Kimberly Gordon, Mike Finnerty, Guy Fricano, Andy Goodrich, and Ron Surace. Steve has worked in pit orchestras for Pegasus Players (Jump For Joy, The Tap Dance Kid) as well as in show bands for Carnival Cruise Lines and Dolphin Cruise Lines.

He has a B.S. degree in Tuba Performance (an instrument he still plays), but these days is mostly playing acoustic and electric bass as well as drums on occasion.
Currently he is also involved with a new independent label called "Moonlight Records" as a session player and artist. The label is run by Australian blues and rock guitarist Michael Charles and features artists from the pop, rock, and folk fields.
