The night we met Fred Anderson at the Velvet Lounge was momentous to us, for just THAT! We had no idea he would be there and we thrilled to meet him in person. We told him of our mission to support and promote LIVE MUSIC in Chicago and he sincerely liked what we do and told us so. He was so kind and friendly and when we were leaving, he got up and rushed over and made a point to grab Fred Starr’s hand with a warm handshake and thanked us for coming.
It meant the WORLD to us.
We were that night, and still are and will ALWAYS be grateful to Fred Anderson for his support of CSC and for all of the wonderful acts of positive love and magic and the MUSIC, that he has shown the world. We were lucky to know Fred Anderson.
