Nick Tountas, a Chicago bass player, and legend in his own time, has passed. Today, Friday, February 3, 2012, Nick peacefully died at Glenbrook Hospital in north suburban Glenview. More about Nick Tountas in Neil Tesser’s article today:

We met Nick in December 2009 when we visited our friends Jim Ryan and John Bany who were playing at on a Thursday night at Chambers in Niles.
