Paul Marinaro’s Without A Song Trailer

“At long last I’m thrilled to be able to announce the release of my debut album, Without A Song, a carefully selected collection of standards inspired by and in tribute to my father. At 85 years of age my dad still carries a deep passion for music and will often wax nostalgic about his quest to be a singer.   Choosing instead a path that would allow him to more assuredly support his growing family, he walked away from his dream but it has never left him.

I strongly feel that my first fascination with music began when, at the age of five, I stumbled upon a box of his homemade 78 rpm acetates and heard my father singing the then current Sinatra hit…from 1947.  Little did he know that the sound he had etched into the grooves of that lacquer disc would someday serve to inspire the youngest of his children.  And little did he know that it would be restored and used to introduce his son’s debut album, 66 years later. “
