It was Alejo’s masterful percussion beats that caused us to dance . . . on an uneven hill . . . in the dark . . . but oh yes . . . by moonlight! We were Dancin’ In The Moonlight! Thanks Alejo!
Percussionist Alejo Poveda LIVE on stage in Chicago, IL / USA.
We wanted Alejo’s brother, famed artist Carlos Poveda see what his dear brother was up to – as Carlos is living in Paris, France!
Alejo Poveda is the founder and leader of Chevere. Check out their schedule and make sure you get out and see them LIVE, You will be glad that you did! They present an unforgettable event, FULL of fun and festive LIVE MUSIC!

His fellow musicians watch him go, go, go – just as we did. We were simply beaming with pride at our good friend Alejo’s top notch performance. It was great to see and hear the rest of the audience clearly and loudly- standing in agreement with us!
